Thinking and Communicating with Clarity and Precision

Young students often have trouble telling linear stories and adding in details in the appropriate manner. Their words are a direct reflection of the ways in which they think about a subject. In order to help a child practice the Habit “Thinking and Communicating with Clarity and Precision,” teachers can first take notice of a child’s typical thought patterns. Then, the teacher can aid the student in practicing thinking in a more clear and organized way. This will be reflected in their written and verbal communications.
